152TT / 304TA
Power and Free conveyors are exactly as the name implies, a powered chain driving a form of free track trolley underneath itself.
152 TT
The 152TT consists of two tubular track sections fabricated together in a shotgun format. One section will be powered with a standard 152 style chain running through it with special dogs attached to the pendants. The other section will contain standard 152 free track trolleys joined together with a loadbar and towing arm arrangement to aid engagement with the powered chain. The loadbars generally have a maximum capacity.
304 TA
The 304TA consists of a 304 track fabricated on top of a pair of equal angles with supporting bridge plates. A standard 304 chain with fixed pendants runs through the top section. Attached between two pendants exists a loadbar towing dog arrangement which will power a standard 228 style trolley along the angles underneath. Trolleys maybe used singular and in a loadbar arrangement providing maximum product capacity of around 100kg.
Power and Freedom
Towing dogs will carry the trolleys around the circuit length of a system until it comes in contact with a blade stop; at this point the dog disengages and carries on its journey around the circuit. The free track part of the system may now divert away onto different lines for cooling or storage without causing a stop in the powered circuit.
Carriers
Indexers and rotators can be applied directly to trolleys and loadbars for precision coating or treatment. These can be manipulated manually or automatically by incorporating pneumatics or electrical controls.
Steelwork
Similar to any overhead, the track can either be supported by floor mounted steelwork or roof supports if applicable.
