Power and Free conveyors are exactly as the name implies, a powered chain driving a form of free track trolley underneath itself.
203 TA
The 203TA consists of an adaptation the 203 power chain but with a towing dog hanging down from the track instead of a pendant. The towing dog is used to latch onto to a 228 style trolley with a cutout on the top. The trolley has a swinging pendant which hangs down from whole track section. Products can either be supported directly from the trolley pendant or via a loadbar between numerous trolleys. The 203TA can take products of up to 100Kg or possibly more depending on the dimensions.
203/406
The 203/406 works in the same way as the 203TA however the bottom track supports 406 trolley which have improved weight capacity of 250Kg. With numerous trolleys attached to a loadbar means we can carry loads of up to one tonne.
Power and Freedom
Towing dogs will carry the trolleys around the circuit length of a system until it comes in contact with a blade stop; at this point the dog disengages and carries on its journey around the circuit. The free track part of the system may now divert away onto different lines for cooling or storage without causing a stop in the powered circuit.
Carriers
Indexers and rotators can be applied directly to trolleys and loadbars for precision coating or treatment. These can be manipulated manually or automatically by incorporating pneumatics or electrical controls.
Steelwork
Similar to any overhead, the track can either be supported by floor mounted steelwork or roof supports if applicable.
