Overhead Conveyors
Overhead Conveyor Systems are generally considered to be a track or beam type system which supports either a powered chain or free running trolley or both. Most commonly the product is hung from the underside of the track attached to the chain or a trolley unit. These systems are very common in the paint finishing industry as they offer excellent access to all sides and angles of the product, making the application of wet paints, powders etc. easier.
Floor Conveyors
Floor Conveyors cover a vast array of different materials handling equipment. The most common and recognizable are standard belt conveyor and roller conveyors we see in large logistics facilities. Plate-link & slat conveyors work in a similar way to rubber belts but offer a more robust construction for heavy or hazardous products. Inverted chain conveyors are excellent alternatives to overhead conveyors in the paint finishing industry and have proved particularly popular with alloy wheel refurbishment and glass bottle finishing plants.
Custom Designed Equipment
Outside of the standard type of conveyor systems we design and build bespoke materials handling equipment and machinery. Powered or manual mezzanine floor safety or pallet gates, specialist lifting and turning devices and general structural and decorative steel fabrications.
Spares & Service
Conveyor equipment is often critical to most companies manufacturing processes, so much so that any failures can halt production completely. Our equipment is designed and manufactured to the highest standards to prevent any failures, however regular servicing should be implemented, and critical spares held on the shelf in the event of breakdown.
