Roller conveyors consist of a tube with bearings secured inside. These conveyors can be powered or gravity (manual), powered roller systems will have a single driven powered per module with chain or bands linking the other rollers in the module.
Powered Roller
Powered roller conveyor will generally have one driven roller which is linked to the other roller in the module via rubber bands (lineshaft) or chains and sprockets (sprocketed roller). The driven roller can be a motorised roller whereby the bearing is replaced with a small DC motor or connected to gear motor by chain transfer.
